SK Telecom Records LTE Subscriber Base of Four Million in July 2012

SK Telecom announced on July 23, 2012 that its LTE (Long Term Evolution) subscriber base has exceeded four million as of July 20, 2012, according to a press release by SK Telecom. The company said it broke the four million LTE subscriber mark in 44 days after exceeding the three million mark in June 6, 2012, and it said that the sharp subscriber growth is mainly fueled by strong sales of its Galaxy S3 LTE. SK Telecom projects that its LTE subscriber base will total seven million by the end of 2012 thanks to wide popularity of its LTE services.
